A Sensu fan jacket worn beneath a Kuala Lumpur overpass

The 3 p.m. city.

Designing around the hours when heat settles into concrete, transit and the walk home.

Kuala Lumpur · launch study

Shade changes the route, not the temperature.

In Malaysia, a useful layer has to work across rapid shifts: sun to platform, platform to train, train to rain cover, then back into the street. Sensu starts with that movement rather than importing the visual language of cold-weather outerwear.

The fan jacket is treated as clothing first. Air enters low at the back, the hardware remains visually quiet, and the silhouette earns its place even when the components are removed.

Portable air began as a simple gesture. Sensu translates the idea into a layer for a different place and time.
